Genmaicha is often brewed in large bowls in Japan, and the floating puffed rice is eaten as a small snack to accompany the tea. The puffed rice is called Blossom or Flower and can also be sieved out of the brew. Our quality is based on a high-grade Sencha from the Kagoshima prefecture and is produced in the area around Kirishima. The taste is fresh with sweet, caramel notes.
How to prepare:
quantity: 12 - 15 g/l (approx. 3g per cup)
temperature: 70 to 80 C
brewing time: 2 to 3 minutes
Multiple infusion: This tea can be infused up to 3 times
Food pairing: pairs beautifully with fish and soy sauce. Try it with sushi for a light dinner. Delicious with a light risotto
